CODEKAARYA / PRIVACY

Privacy notice.

What we collect through this website, why we use it and how to contact us about your information.

1. What this notice covers

This notice covers the CodeKaarya website and its project enquiry process. A client project may involve additional data handling, which is addressed in the project’s written arrangements.

For questions about this notice, contact codekaarya@gmail.com.

2. Information you provide

When you submit an enquiry, we receive the details you choose to share. Depending on the fields you complete, these may include:

  • Your name, email address and optional company details.
  • Your selected service, website package and optional budget range.
  • Your project description and any other information in your brief.
  • An optional uploaded file, including its name and contents.
  • Messages you later send through email or WhatsApp.

3. How we use enquiry information

We use this information to understand your request, respond to you, discuss requirements and prepare the next steps or a proposal. If a project proceeds, relevant information may also be used to manage the engagement and maintain project records.

An enquiry is not automatically added to an advertising or promotional mailing list.

4. Storage and access

Submitted enquiries are stored in the website’s private database, and uploaded briefs are stored in private file storage. They are not published as website content. Access is limited to the systems and people handling enquiries and administering the website.

The hosting platform and its infrastructure providers process information needed to operate these services. Technical information may include request details, IP addresses, browser or device information and service logs used to deliver, protect or troubleshoot the website.

5. Browser storage and platform sign-in

The hosting platform may use essential cookies or browser storage for security, sessions and access controls. Where access requires ChatGPT sign-in, authentication is handled by that platform under its own policies. CodeKaarya does not ask for your ChatGPT password.

This website currently does not include advertising trackers. If the site’s tracking or analytics arrangements change, this notice will be updated to describe them.

6. Email, WhatsApp and external links

Email links open your chosen email application. WhatsApp links open WhatsApp. Information you send using those services is also handled under their own policies and account settings.

Other websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices. This notice describes CodeKaarya’s website and enquiry handling.

7. Retention and your requests

We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to handle the request, manage any resulting project and maintain relevant business records. The appropriate period depends on the enquiry and whether a project follows.

You can contact codekaarya@gmail.com to ask about your information or request a correction or deletion. We may need enough information to verify the request and explain any records that still need to be retained.

8. Updates to this notice

This notice may be updated when the website, enquiry workflow or service providers change. Questions about the current notice can be sent to codekaarya@gmail.com.
